City Boards and Committees

Boards and Committees are advisory groups that play an essential role in city government. Advisory group members perform special, limited functions. Some of these Boards and Committees are established in the City Charter; others consist of Mayoral, City Commission, and City Manager appointees.  City of Ennis citizens have the opportunity to volunteer their services to the City without pay on various boards and commissions.  Each group is established to secure the participation of City of Ennis residents to promote good government, and the effective and efficient delivery of services.
