The Ennis Public Library is relocating to accommodate upcoming building renovations.
The library will temporarily close on Monday, March 27th, and begin moving to an interim location that will continue to serve the community until construction is completed. During the closure, all in-person services will be suspended, staff capacity to answer phones will be intermittent, and the book drop will be unavailable. Patrons are encouraged to keep borrowed materials until the library reopens; due dates will be extended so that late fees do not accrue. Access to online services, including TexShare databases, eBooks and eAudiobooks, will remain available via the website and the Libby app.
The interim library—located at 115 W. Brown St.—is anticipated to open Monday, April 24th. Patrons can expect to see the full collection of library materials, business services, public computers, and friendly library staff.
