Due to the potential for hazardous driving conditions, all City of Ennis offices will delay opening until noon on Friday, January 10th, 2025. This decision has been made out of concern for the safety of both staff and citizens. No trash service will run. If your trash pick up day is scheduled on this day you will be able to set out 3 extra trash bags on your next trash pick up day. Utility bills can be paid online at www.municipalonlinepayments.com/ennistx/utilities or via the night drop box. 

If you are in need of shelter during this time, Ennis CARES will provide a temporary warming station in downtown Ennis through Friday, January 10th. The warming station will be open from 8am-4pm. Overnight accommodations will be handled on a case by case basis. This service is free of charge and open to anyone in need of shelter during the cold weather.
