Ennis, Texas- Adopting a property tax rate to support the City’s budget is a major responsibility of the City Commission. Texas truth-in-taxation requirements ensure that taxpayers
are informed of proposed tax rates and have an opportunity to participate in the process. For Tax Year 2026, the City of Ennis is proposing a property tax rate of $0.668238 per $100 of taxable value to support the Fiscal Year 2027 operating budget. The proposed rate is equal to the voter-approval tax rate and is lower than the no-new-revenue tax rate of $0.669182.
