Ennis, Texas – The City of Ennis is excited to host a joint State of the City, County, and School event on August 25 at 5:30 p.m. in the Bluebonnet Room at the Ennis Welcome Center. This
event is designed to provide residents with a high-level update on the City’s progress, priorities, and vision for the future.
City, County, and School District leadership will present an overview of recent accomplishments, major initiatives, ongoing projects, and longer‑term plans that continue to shape the
growth and development of Ennis. Residents will also receive important updates regarding public services, infrastructure improvements, and community enhancements that impact quality of life across the city.
“The State of the City is a valuable opportunity for us to share the work we’ve undertaken, the progress we’ve made, and the direction we are heading together,” said Mayor Isbell. “We remain
committed to making thoughtful, responsible progress and ensuring residents are informed every step of the way.”
The State of the City serves as an opportunity for residents to gain insight into the work being done to support a thriving community. It is an informative and encouraging occasion that
highlights the momentum within Ennis and reinforces the City’s commitment to transparency, service, and forward-focused planning.
