Ennis, Texas - Ennis Main Street, in partnership with the Ennis Economic Development Corporation (EEDC), will host the Small Business Toolkit Workshop: Building & Growing Your Local Business featuring the Ennis Economic Development Corporation (EEDC) on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Ennis Welcome Center.

The workshop is designed for current and prospective business owners interested in learning more about the resources available to help establish, strengthen and grow a business in Downtown Ennis.

“Small businesses play an important role in the continued growth and vitality of Downtown Ennis,” said Haley Burnett, Destination Marketing and Main Street Manager. “This workshop is an opportunity to connect business owners and entrepreneurs with practical tools, resources and information that can help them take the next step in their business journey.”

During the workshop, Haley Burnett, Destination Marketing and Main Street Manager and Miriam Castillo, Ennis Economic Development Corporation Director, will guide attendees through the

Downtown Small Business Toolkit and highlight resources available to prospective and expanding businesses. The program will also provide an overview of business incentives and other development resources available to support continued investment in Downtown Ennis.

The workshop will conclude with an open Q&A and stakeholder discussion, providing attendees an opportunity to ask questions about property development, available resources and business support.
