Planning and Zoning Commission – Meeting Schedule and Membership

Authority
The Planning and Zoning Commission operates under the Ennis Unified Development Ordinance, Article 2, Section 2.3.

Membership
• Seven members and two alternate members
• All members must reside within the City of Ennis
• Appointments are made annually by the City Commission during its April meeting, or as soon as practicable
• Appointees serve two‑year terms, with new terms typically beginning in August

Meeting Schedule
• The Commission meets on the second and fourth Mondays of each month
• Meetings are held on an as‑needed basis, depending on submitted applications and agenda items
