The Ennis Fire Department is dedicated to promoting and protecting the health and safety of our residents and visitors. The department provides fire suppression, prevention and education, along with Advanced Life Support (ALS) first response from 3 stations, twenty-four hours a day, 365 day a year.

The Ennis Police Department is a municipal law enforcement agency that is appointed to enforce local ordinances, state and federal law. The members of the Ennis Police Department are responsible for providing public assistance, answering calls related to traffic incidents and other emergencies, collecting, preserving and maintaining evidence, serving arrest warrants, and performing other related activities as needed or required.
