The Ennis CARES Program was born as a response to community needs identified during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ennis C.A.R.E.S. serves our Community by providing Assistance and Resources, through Engagement and Services while focusing on long term solutions for people and families in need. Serving as the resource hub for the City of Ennis and providing charitable, benevolent, civic, educational, social, and societal services to the community of Ennis to improve the lives of our fellow citizens.

Need Help? We are here for you! The Bluebonnet Call Center is your non-emergency resource for help, including prescription pick-up and running errands for the homebound, and financial assistance for those who live within the boundaries of Ennis ISD (whether you have school-aged children or not). We are also available to anyone for prayer or if you simply need someone to talk to during this uncertain time.

COVID-19 Vaccines are being provided to the homebound of Ellis County. Contact the Bluebonnet Call Center to register.
Salvation Army Angel Tree Sign Up
If you live in Ennis and have a school age child that you would like to register for the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program, contact your child’s school campus to ask for an application. Registration for the 2021 season will run from September 1st thru October 10th.
Toys for Tots Campaign
If you have not signed up for another Angel Tree type program in the community, the Marine Toys for Tots Campaign will begin the 2nd week of October. Applications and more information about this campaign will be coming soon and will be available through the Bluebonnet Call Center.
Community Thanksgiving Meal
Contact the Bluebonnet Call Center between November 2nd and November 23rd if you or someone you know are at risk, elderly, shut-in, or quarantined this Thanksgiving. Ennis CARES, alongside local churches, businesses, and community members, will deliver a traditional Thanksgiving meal to your door to show how much you are loved!
