The Ennis Fire Department is a career department that operates three stations providing fire suppression, advanced life support first response, and rescue services to our visitors and residents. In addition, we provide fire prevention, public education and fire inspection services for our educational facilities and businesses in an effort to prevent emergencies before they occur.

I am fortunate to work with an extraordinary group of fire professionals who are committed to making a difference each day. I believe our personnel to be our greatest asset and with them, anything is possible.

The average response time to any point in the City is approximately 4 minutes. Fire Department personnel maintain professional Fire Fighter Certifications as well as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certifications.

First Response Emergency Ambulance Service is provided by Allegiance Mobile Health.
