The City of Ennis is currently holding property valued at $100 or less that is presumed abandoned or unclaimed subject to Chapter 76 of the Texas Property Code. Unclaimed property may include uncashed utility refunds, vendor payments, court fees, payroll checks, or overpayments. Any person possessing a legal or beneficial interest in the reported property must fill out and send in the Unclaimed Property Claim Form and supporting documentation establishing your right to receive the property. When contacting the City, please be prepared to provide the following information:

Owner’s name as identified in the unclaimed property listing
Owner’s current address
Owner’s social security number and driver’s license number
Other information as may be required to provide proof of ownership or identity
