BASEBALL & SOFTBALL

Baseball and softball fields at Bluebonnet Park are available for games and tournaments. Rental fee is $250 a day per field and an additional $10 an hour per field if lights are needed.

Baseball and softball fields at Bluebonnet and Roger Maise Park are available for practices. Rental fee is $10 an hour per field and an additional $10 an hour per field if lights are needed. (No lights at Roger Maise)

SOCCER

Soccer fields at Veterans Memorial Park are available to reserve for tournaments & practices. (Same rental fees as above)


STEP ONE: Check to see if your date is available by contacting the Parks Department at (972) 875-1234 EXT: 2248. 

STEP TWO: Submit the Facility or Field Reservation Application to pliska@ennistx.gov

STEP THREE: You will receive further registration details via email from that point on.

We have two covered pavilions with picnic tables, benches, electrical hookups, and connecting bathrooms. Perfect for birthday parties or similar events. One pavilion is at Bluebonnet Park just off US Highway-287 and the other at Lions Park on Lampasas Street.


STEP ONE: Check to see if your date is available by contacting the Parks Department at (972) 875-1234 EXT: 2248

STEP TWO: Print and submit the Facility or Field Reservation Application along with full payment, $75 for half a day or $100 for a full day, to City Hall at 115 W. Brown St.

STEP THREE: Enjoy your event! 

STEP FOUR: Conduct a site cleanup at the conclusion of your event.

NOTICE: No tapes, staples, nails, etc. may be used to attach signage or party decorations to the pavilion structure.

CANCELLATION POLICY: You must submit the cancellation request found on page two of the Facility or Field Reservation Application to City Hall no later than 5 business days prior to your reservation date to receive a refund. 

Call us at (972) 875-1234 EXT: 2248 for any of the following issues:

- Graffiti or defacement of park sidewalks or buildings

- Cleanliness or general maintenance 

- Playground damage

- Athletic field or court damage

- Structural hazard in pavilions, gazebos, picnic areas, boat launch, pier, fitness court, etc

- Non-scheduled grass cut due to heavy rains

- Water leakage or electrical issues in public restrooms

*We are not accepting reservations for the Community Center due to city COVID-19 restrictions*

STEP ONE: Check to see if your date is available by contacting the Parks Department at (972) 875-1234 EXT: 2248. 

STEP TWO: Submit an application with a $75 deposit to City Hall. Full payment of $150 must be received prior to reservation date.

STEP THREE: Your reservation will be sent to the Parks Department for final processing. 

STEP FOUR: You will receive an electronic key code via email from the Parks Department prior to your reservation date.

STEP FIVE: Enjoy your event! 

STEP SIX: In order to have your deposit returned, you are required to conduct a full clean up after your event. An inspection will be conducted to determine if this step was met. Deposits will not be returned if center left dirty or damaged. You will receive an email stating the status of your deposit.

STEP SEVEN: Return to City Hall to complete the deposit refund process.

CANCELLATION POLICY: You must call no later than 5 business days prior to your reservation date to receive a refund. 

The Recreation Department plans monthly sporting events and social activities throughout the year for both youths and adults. Head on over to our Team Sideline portal and see what is currently being offered. If you wish to register for a particular event, you will need to create a one-time account.
