Baseball and softball fields at Bluebonnet Park are available for games and tournaments. Rental fee is $250 a day per field and an additional $10 an hour per field if lights are needed.

SOCCER
Soccer fields at Veterans Memorial Park are available to reserve for tournaments & practices. (Same rental fees as above)
STEP 1: Check to see if your date is available by contacting the Parks Department at (972) 875-1234 EXT: 2248.
STEP 2: Submit the Facility or Field Reservation Form to pliska@ennistx.gov
STEP 3: You will receive further registration details via email from that point on.
We offer covered pavilions at Bluebonnet, Lions, and IOOF at Fairview Park. These pavilions are perfect venues for birthday parties or similar events and each come with picnic tables, benches, lighting, and electrical outlets. Bluebonnet and Lions Park have connecting bathrooms.
The pavilion at IOOF Fairview park is available for reservations but please note the park is not fully open. Parts of the park are under construction and getting upgrades. We are working as quickly as we can weather permitting. Thank for giving us the space to work on our city parks and make them better for you and the community.
FEE: $75 for a Half Day or $100 for a Full Day.
TIMES: Half Day rental hours are “Park Open” to 1:00 PM OR 3:00 PM to “Park Close” Full Day rental hours are from “Park Open” to “Park Close”.

STEP 2: Submit the Facility or Field Reservation form along with full payment to City Hall at 107 N. Sherman.
STEP 3: Conduct a site cleanup at the conclusion of your event.
NOTICE: No permanent adhesives may be used to attach signage or party decorations to the pavilion structure. Any tape used for party favors or signage MUST be removed after your event. Applicant may be charged with facility clean-up or damage fee if pavilion is not left in original condition.
CANCELLATION POLICY: You must submit a cancellation request no later than 5 business days prior to your reservation date to receive a refund. Cancelations must be submitted at City Hall.
The Community Center is the ideal place for indoor birthday parties, family reunions, business meetings or in-service classes. Amenities include central heat and air, ceiling fans, bathrooms, and multiple electrical outlets for music and appliances.
FEE: $250 ($100 Refundable Deposit*)

STEP 2: Submit an application with your deposit to City Hall. Full payment must be received prior to reservation date.
STEP 3: Your reservation request will be sent to the Parks Department for final processing.
STEP 4: You will receive an electronic key code via email from the Parks Department prior to your reservation date.
*STEP 5: In order to have your deposit returned, you are required to conduct a full clean up after your event. The Parks Department will inspect the center to determine if this step was met. Deposits will not be returned if center is left uncleaned, damaged, or in unsatisfactory condition. You will receive an email stating the status of your deposit.
STEP SEVEN: Return to City Hall to complete the deposit refund process.
CANCELLATION POLICY: You must call no later than 5 business days prior to your reservation date to receive a refund.

- Graffiti or defacement of park sidewalks or buildings
- Cleanliness or general maintenance
- Playground damage
- Athletic field or court damage
- Structural hazard in pavilions, gazebos, picnic areas, boat launch, pier, fitness court, etc
- Non-scheduled grass cut due to heavy rains
- Water leakage or electrical issues in public restrooms
The Recreation Department plans sporting events and social activities throughout the year for both youths and adults. Head on over to our Team Sideline portal to register and see what is currently being offered.
