Water and Sewer Emergencies

To report water or sewer issues, including water leaks, please contact the Service Center at 972‑875‑1234 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
For after‑hours, weekend, or holiday emergencies, call 972‑875‑4465.

If a water supply or sewer problem is located on the customer’s side of the meter or within private property, a licensed plumber will be required. Please contact the City only for issues occurring on the City’s side of the meter or originating beyond your property line.

The City of Ennis does not accept payments over the phone, nor do City staff contact customers to request payments by phone. If you receive a call requesting payment for your water bill, please notify the Utility Billing Department at 972‑875‑1234.
