Ennis CARES Coordinator

The Ennis CARES Program was recently developed to assist people in need throughout Ennis. During this trying time, we need to come together now more than ever to extend a helping hand to others around us.

The current initiatives through this program are as follows:

The City of Ennis Toys for Tots

The City of Ennis is partnering with Toys for Tots. We know this year will be especially difficult for many families and we want to do everything we can to ensure the children of Ennis have a special holiday season.

If you need assistance and would like to register your children for Toys for Tots, call 972-695-3524. Be prepared with the following documents: Birth Certificate for each child, proof of residency in Ellis County, and proof of income.

If you would like to adopt an angel, please call or email The Bluebonnet Call Center at  972-695-3524  BBCC@ennistx.gov to be directed to numerous places throughout Ennis with Toys for Tots drop-off locations and Angel Trees.

If you are a local business or organization that would like to volunteer or if you have an existing angel tree that you would like to add to our consolidated list, call or email The Bluebonnet Call Center at 972-695-3524 or BBCC@ennistx.gov.

Toys for Tots covers children 14 and under. The Ennis Welcome Center will be hosting a tree for children age 15-18.

Registration is from November 1st 2020-December 4th 2020.

The Ennis Bluebonnet Call Center
The Bluebonnet Call Center was established during the beginning stages of the pandemic and has developed into a resource for people to reach out to for financial assistance, prayer, groceries and other basic needs. Each individual need is discussed and appropriate next steps are taken to provide assistance after following an application process.
For assistance or more information on how you can help, email BBCC@ennistx.gov or call the non-emergency helpline at 972-695-3524.
