The Ennis Fire Department is focused on our community and any visitors to our area. We are strongly committed to an aggressive and courteous approach to our roles and responsibilities. Education, Prevention, Suppression, Rescue and Emergency Management define our purpose. Our department is currently staffed by 42 of the finest firefighters, EMT’s, paramedics, and fire prevention officers.

The average response time to any point in the City is approximately 4 minutes. Fire Department personnel maintain professional Fire Fighter Certifications as well as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certifications.
First Response Emergency Ambulance Service is provided by American Medical Response (AMR).
